Domestic assault: At 3:09 a.m. June 18 in the 100 block of Glennwood Place NE, officers responded to a domestic assault involving a firearm. The victim stated her boyfriend had assaulted her and threatened her with a weapon. The suspect was not at the scene when officers arrived. The victim also said the suspect prevented her from leaving the house. The suspect later turned himself in to police and was booked on investigation of second-degree domestic violence assault, domestic violence unlawful imprisonment, and interfering with reporting domestic violence.

Cyber sex crime reported: On June 18, a tip reporting possible sexual abuse of a minor came in from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children. The case is under investigation.

Bear spray assault: At 12:15 a.m. June 19 in the 100 block of Mill Ave. S., a man and woman stated that an unknown female suspect began arguing with a male and suddenly sprayed them with bear spray. The female suspect had already left by the time the officers arrived. If the suspect is located, officers have probable cause for fourth-degree assault.

Man shot in the leg: At 2:17 a.m. June 21 in the 17700 block of 105th Place SE, officers responded to a shooting. They located a victim who had been shot in the leg. The victim stated he was walking to his car in the parking lot when someone came up from behind him, and he heard a loud pop and felt pain. He did not know who would have shot him. The investigation is ongoing.

Driving under the influence: At 8:11 a.m. June 22 in the 17800 block of 108th Ave. SE, officers responded to a welfare check. A security officer reported seeing two individuals slumped over in a vehicle. Officers blocked the vehicle in with their patrol cars and woke up the driver, who was fumbling around and not complying. As officers removed the driver from the car, suspected drug paraphernalia dropped to the ground. During the search following the arrest, officers also located a bag with a white substance, cash, a digital scale, and a needle. The suspect was booked into jail.
